Because god knows Mississippi needs books.

Not because they are ignorant, but because they lost a lot of books in the hurricane.

(And I'm not saying they are ignorant - my family is from there. As a child, I remember having books delivered through the mail to our rural home outside Meehan, Mississippi - so anything that gets books to people any easier than using USPS is good by me.)
