Ya'll rock

I really admire writers like Marigoldie. I can't put myself out there like that. Her list of 100 things about herself made me feel slightly ashamed for using the term "white trash" without explanation or defense. Though I'll continue to use it and am too lazy right now to post an explanation or defense.

I love other bloggers more than blogging itself. Literally. You'll find a few of the objects of my adoration linked on the right. Who do you read? Drop a comment and share the love.

I love to read, when i was younger i would read anything, now I have higher standards lol (not really) but I love mystery and what can I say I am a sucker for a romance (well written) and I always try to read and enjoy the classics. I caught your blog because of bumblebee sweet potato, your blog name is catchy I always use the term White trash although it's more in connection to myself, then to others. I plan on reading some past posts and get a better feel for you.

There are so many bloggers that I read daily--Metrodad, Daddychip (well, not daily), of course Doppelganger's 50 Books, Comfort Addict at Struggling with Comfort. There is some really amazing writing out there in the blogosphere!

Hey, thanks for the link! What a nice surprise. You know, I certainly use the word redneck in reference to myself; I just don't like to hear someone say redneck or white trash to put someone down, and I seem to hear it all the time. Many people I grew up with in TN with might be considered both white trash or redneck, but they're amazing and brilliant in a way more sophisticated types might not see at first glance. So that's kind of where I'm coming from.

Thanks again for reading--please come back!

There's White Trash, and there's rednecks, and then there's what Grandma called just plain sorry. Just plain sorry is not the same as White Trash and redneck, but some people confuse them, hence the misuse of these fine phrases. My favorite phrase is "Spam sucking trailer trash" used in a book by a woman about her children.
